Petes to Face Kingston as Eastern Conference Semi-Final Begins on Thursday

Top-seeded Petes have season series record of 6-2-0-0 against Frontenacs

(Peterborough, ON) – Peterborough’s Eastern Conference Semi-Final match-up is finally set to begin on Thursday, April 6, as the top-seeded Petes take on the Kingston Frontenacs at 7:05pm.

 

With Kingston winning game seven of their first round series against the Hamilton Bulldogs on Tuesday night, Peterborough – who has been off since last Thursday after sweeping Niagara in round one – gets set to play the East Division rival Frontenacs. The series schedule is as follows:

 

  • Game One: Thursday, April 6, 2017 @ 7:05pm (Peterborough Memorial Centre)
  • Game Two: Sunday, April 9, 2017 @ 7:05pm (Peterborough Memorial Centre)
  • Game Three: Tuesday, April 11, 2017 @ 7:00pm (Rogers K-Rock Centre)
  • Game Four: Thursday, April 13, 2017 @ 7:00pm (Rogers K-Rock Centre)
  • Game Five: Saturday, April 15, 2017 @ 7:05pm (Peterborough Memorial Centre)*
  • Game Six: Monday, April 17, 2017 @ 7:00pm (Rogers K-Rock Centre)*
  • Game Seven: Tuesday, April 18, 2017 @ 7:05pm (Peterborough Memorial Centre)*

The last time the Petes and Frontenacs met in the playoffs was in round one of the 2013 OHL Playoffs. After Kingston went ahead 3-0 in the series, the Petes made an historic four-game comeback, winning game seven in overtime in Kingston. Current Petes Matt Spencer, Steve Lorentz, and Josh Coyle were members of that Peterborough team.

 

Tickets are available now for round two games one and two, and fans can also take advantage of the popular Playoff Push Package. Season Ticket Holders have until 4:30pm on Wednesday, April 5 to secure their seats.
